You will meet your specialty instructor prior to the dive boat departing to review your e-learning and review some of the skills you will be expected to master underwater.

If you are already a PADI Advanced Open Water diver and you have already completed Peak Performance Buoyancy training dive 1, we can offer you a fun dive along with Peak Performance Buoyancy Training dive 2 on this dive trip.

  • Controlled descents and ascents
  • Hovering for at least 60 seconds
  • Control buoyancy and swim relaxed and neutrally buoyant in a horizontal position making frequent small adjustments to buoyancy as needed

There are also a number of buoyancy-related skills to master during Peak Performance Buoyancy training dive #2, including:

  • Demonstrate efficient fin kicks, using long, slow strokes and gliding after each kick
  • Hovering for at least 90 seconds
  • Flood and clear your mask whilst maintaining depth in a neutrally buoyant position

Advantages of taking PADI Peak Buoyancy course?

There are lots of advantages for you to complete the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy course.

More efficient movement underwater: Better buoyancy will allow you to glide through the water more smoothly and efficiently. You will need less fin kicking, meaning you will expend less effort and energy during your dives.

Better control underwater: Precise buoyancy control will allow you to minimize your impact on the underwater environment. As responsible ocean advocates, we should aim for zero disturbance of the marine environment. More control will also allow you to better observe the marine life.

Reduced Injuries: Divers with good buoyancy, who are correctly weighted, streamlined, and diving with good trim are much less likely to accidentally make contact with corals, shipwrecks, or other fragile underwater structures, reducing the risk of injury to themselves and damage to the environment.

Improved Air consumption: Having better control over your buoyancy and expending less energy means you will use less air. This means longer and safer diving!

Increased confidence: Divers who have mastered the art of buoyancy are comfortable, confident, and in control underwater and are much more likely to have an enjoyable and relaxed diving experience.

The Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty is a great course for divers wishing to improve their skills and confidence and become more proficient divers.

Why Choose A PADI 5 Star Dive Center?

PADI dive centers must adhere to the highest training standards and customer service levels in the dive industry.

PADI is the most recognized agency worldwide when it comes to recreational diving courses, with hundreds of agencies around the world; PADI is established in more countries than any other agency.

In short, if you go to a small island in the middle of nowhere and there is a diving school, it is most likely PADI.

PADI is the only training agency whose curriculum is written by educational authors, using tried, tested, and trusted learning philosophies adapted for scuba diving.

The PADI system is performance-based, not time-based.

What this means is you will have to earn your certification, and you can’t buy it!

Please keep in mind that we are going to ask you to do more than other dive centers and agencies. On the bright side, this will mean you will receive a higher quality training course and will be much better prepared as a certified scuba diver.

PADI is the only agency that conducts customer satisfaction surveys to ensure that its professionals are meeting the highest standards of education and safety, while other agencies only ask instructors or schools to manage their own standards.
